STYLE.
The main aim of my shoot is to express my style as well as styles amongst my age group and find out what influences styles in this generation. As things like big name brands like Nike or Adidas or even music have an effect on how we dress.
I am also exploring how models can and may have an influence on our styles. This is because I, personally, find myself looking at how models advertise clothes that would only look good on them as they have the right body type for example.

Plan:
Week 1:
Carry out first photoshoot based on my own styles.
Week 2:
Artist research relating to the first photoshoot. So for example, big brand names such as BAPE or SUPREME.
Week 3:
Focusing on styles other people wear as well as their physical appearance like their hairstyles or makeup.Taking photos of people in a way that you'd see on clothing websites like ASOS making them seem like models.
Week 4:
Going around to places like SUPREME and the Nike store and taking photos of their shops as well as models that may be around Central London.
Week 5:
Research the photographers who take shots of models and find out how they do it and their reasoning behind it.

MOOD BOARDS.
First Photoshoot.
I took photos of outfits and clothes that I wear for different places that I would go and clothes that I just like in general. So for example, going to the gym, going to school or a special occasion. In this photoshoot I tried to present some of the clothes as you might see them on a website. The purpose for this shoot is to express my style as well as show that there doesn't have to be a specific reason to wear something that you would like to wear.

MINDMAP.
Second Photoshoot.
In my second photoshoot I altered the camera angles for the different people I took photos of. This was so that I could either fit their whole body into the shot and capture what they were wearing, or to make them look more interesting.
I took my shoot outdoors to make the subjects look more natural as there was natural lighting from the sun for example which brought out their features. I wanted to make my photos look natural because I wanted to go against how models in the industry take their photos with artificial backgrounds and lighting. As I was outdoors so I had set my camera to a medium f-stop so the photos weren't overexposed. As well as taking photos of peoples different styles, I also took some profile shots to show different physical style, like for example how people style their hair.

These are some photos that I edited using a fine liner. The images I drew onto the photos were from BLEACH which is an anime/manga. I did this to make the look more stylized and comical, and as it was something both the subjects in the photos had enjoyed. In the black & white photo of Isaac, I made him look like the rapper 21 Savage by adding tattoos on his face as well piercings.
