Provoke
Provoke was an experimental Japanese press photography magazine that was founded in 1968 by a collection of photographers including some of Japan's most influential photographers like Daido Moriyama. Despite only lasting three issues, the magazines were incredibly influential as it represents the massive social change that Japan has been through because of the recent effects of the second world war and shows how the Japanese began to use photography as a new way of protesting and expressing.
The "Are Bure Boke" style of photography was already popular before the provoke magazine was published.
