About:
Ronen Goldman is a Commercial conceptual photographer who is based in Israel. Ronen has created "Photo-Dreams" as well as "The Surrealistic Pillow Project" which are conceptual photographs that show his different dream states which could be happy, sad, exhilaration or fear.
Ronen's photos usually contain a lot of repetition of objects for example, apples, cards or birds. This repetition could show that he is trying to really convey a message by showing the same thing over and over again to make that object stick in the mind of the viewer. Goldman's photos are natural but unrealistic at the same time which is what makes his photos seem like it's a dream world.
Goldman uses very natural colours and lighting which make his photos seem as realistic as possible. His photos consist of optical illusions which are said to take months of planning. He does edit his photos using Photoshop to mask different layers and create the repetition in his photos which I also would experiment with in Photoshop.
I personally enjoy Ronen Goldman's photography as it is as if I'm looking at his individual dreams. I really appreciate his creativity to create these images as I think it would be especially hard to recreate a dream that you had therefore, In my response to his work I'm intending to look at things that inspire me like natural objects.

Inspired by Ronen Goldman's photography.
I took this photo in Greenwich Park during the day and edited this in Photoshop. I used two photos that I took of mushrooms in this photo to add to the surreal and dreamlike aspect of the photo. I had duplicated the mushrooms and edited the lighting using the Lighting Effects tool to make them properly fit in the photo. Using the Lighting Effects tool I made the lighting on some of the mushrooms to make them seem as though they were glowing. This links to the original theme that I had of creating scenes that make the viewer feel as though they are in a fantasy world and is similar to Goldman's photography. In this particular photo I wanted to create a scene that was relating to the season at the time and added the mushrooms as I wanted to replicate the repetition that Ronen Goldman uses in his photos.
